5 Tips To Be #1 At Everything You Do

Let's be honest. Who doesn't like being the best? Sure, there is always room to grow, but is still feels great to scale a new wall, try something new and quickly dominate it. Here is my personal Code to becoming #1 at everything I do.

1. Keep Your Priorities Straight
What is the most important part of your life?
  • Friends
  • Family
  • Love
  • Heath
  • Purpose
  • Creation
  • Contribution
It can be none, one or all of these items.

What kind of lifestyle do you want to live? Without knowing where you're headed, you won't have any clue when you get there.

Set your destination now.
"The important thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing." - Bob Proctor
2. Know Your Worth
For the most part, people don't have time to figure out how awesome you are. The bet way for us to know our worth is to be able to know why we are special.

  • What makes you unique? The only person with your heart, voice, talents and interests is you.
  • You are completely unique to any other living creature. Put it to use by embracing how special you are. Stand out like only you can.

3. Give a Crap
Nothing replaces the benefits of good old-fashioned Caring.

  • Your life cannot be just about making money for the sake of making money.  Or power for the sake of power.
  • People who strive for that wind up among living dead, loveless, friendless and surrounded by that which makes you feel nothing.  I do not wish this for anyone.
  • If you want to make money because it furthers your circle of influence, allows for greater contribution or generosity...that's great.
  • I am not perfect and neither are you. Our best is not only good enough, it is exactly the right amount. It means nothing, however, if we don't care.

4. Put Air In Your Wind Sock
Do things that make you feel energized and full of life.

  • Eat well
  • Get plenty of solid sleep
  • Exercise, take care of that rockin' body
  • Surround yourself with people who think the best of you.

Get inspired and stay inspired. Travel, road trip, re-arrange your furniture, burn some sage around your house or workplace. Get in your zone and stay there.

5. Teamwork
There is no such thing as a "Self-made millionaire." No one got anywhere by themselves. It's a group effort, reaching goals.  We need help from the time we enter the world, until the time we leave it.

  • You can acquire support for your cause, idea, business or adventure by creating an environment that makes people feel good.
  • No one wants to be somewhere than makes them feel bad, taken advantage of or sad. Don't screw your biggest fans, because without them, you'd have never gotten where you are.
  • Invite others along and participate in the journey of others.
  • The easiest way to make friends is to smile and say something nice. No one gets mad over a compliment unless you don't want them on your team anyway.
Cheers to becoming #1 in each of your goals.

Golden Nuggets Along The Journey

Dear Reader:

Enthusiasm is a gift of the spirit to your heart. Bubbling over, babbling brook of wonder and joy, seeping out of your pores to grace the existence of those around you. Creating miracles in the lives of the souls whose paths you cross.

The benefits of sharing your gifts are of huge advantage to mankind and the world. There is heaven inside each of us. Our certain set of gifts is designed to be our method of delivery. We chose which wave to ride and on what beach to play on.

The occasional wave arises that catches us off-guard. Rediscover your footing, rooted deep within yourself and move forward.

Persistence is the gateway to a pure heart and genuine contribution. Don't give up. Genuine contribution is among the most powerful of energies.

Expressing our gifts unites us as humans. Humankind can sing, write, communicate, build, love or create and so much more. Our gifts are endless.

This is a beautiful existence: A masterpiece planet fill of wonders.  Simultaneous expression in ways only each individual is solely able.

Do you lend your gifts in participation of coexisting creation?

Journey Discoveries

Dear Reader:

When I have been true to myself, that is when the obstacles move away.

Perhaps you have experienced being trapped in what feels like a tomb; confined, restricted and imprisoned by a boulder too heavy to be moved on your own. These are the times to hold the course you know in your heart to be true.

Faith is designed to be tested. That is the way of anything strong.

The sun rises each day. It is full of promise. The promise of time progression. Rays raising the awareness of the living, acquiring the attention of sunflowers, reassuring life to continue.

For without the sun, birds might not sing so consistently in gratitude as dawn awakens.  They would not know when to begin their search for sustenance. Nor would fruits and vegetables find the desire to grow, plump and ripen.

The sun contains hope.

Alight upon a lantern of love, moves within my spirit to guide my way along the journey I've chosen for my life.  You, in kind, chose and choose your journey as well.  No one can walk your choices for you. The freedom of choice graces your existence. It is your birth right, designing your life and circumstances.

May the sun shine radiant, bright and beautiful as you find and follow the path for you.
